Dear Members,
When this site was born, it was for one initial purpose - to set up a place for all members of the late European-Forums to hang out. Then, we thought, maybe we could make it work over time. Or maybe not? Well, at least we still had a place to hang out all this while. Anyway, to cut it short, we never did make it, and I don't believe we ever will. So, I have thought of putting an end to the site. But before pulling the plug, I want to at least hear your opinions. I want to at least post a notice in advance, of what's to come. That way, at the end of it all, I will be the last one jumping off the ship as it sinks. It will still be a while before I pull the plug, if that is the decision we all make. I would like to hear from you all. Please post your suggestions, ideas, opinions, and your thoughts. -------------------- ![]() ![]() |

That is a tough one. I am guilty as few others, but I noticed that we hardly get any posts. Somehow we all fell apart and we aren't talking...

It was a good shot but I think it's time to let it go. I just don't have time to spend any more on the internet like I did a few years ago and there is zero growth here. Initially we looked at it as a way to all stay in touch after disbanding the old site, but Sergio hasn't been around in almost 2 years, Paul in one year or more.
It might be nice to designate an existing site to 'meet up' once in awhile to know where to find people (Ie: Bimmerfest or binnerforums, rennlist, etc) or to just leave a message for everyone where their 'home' message boards are so we can find each other later on. I for one only get onto automotive forums now to look for answers to things I need to fix. But I no longer have time for a social life in my real life, much less online. I put a lot of effort into building up tech posts on here when we started and trying to lure people over form other sites or from cardomain. But there are too many other established sites out there for this one to take off. If you decide to continue on, I wish you well. But I won't be able to contribute more than an occasional post to check in. -------------------- BMW Motorsports of Oklahoma- BMWMOFO **AS FEATURED IN THE MARCH 2008 EDITION OF ROUNDEL** |

Let it go..it was fun from the beginning at e-f but times we've all moved on w/ life and have the memories..I wish everyone well as I will personally take w/ me a little bit of everyone here and perhaps we shall meet up once again..but right now, this site is not the best place for that to happen..
I really only hang out on hockey forums but like Tom mentioned I'll use auto forums for troubleshooting something..perhaps we all that is interested leave a link to where we spend whatever online time we have at a certain forum so that whomever wants to shout out we can.. http://nhlweb01.ipslink.com/~ottawa/index.php?act=idx -------------------- ![]() My Jet Black's '03 3.0i Z4 Loaded '02 325Ci Loaded '94 325is Not so loaded.. |

Ken, you and I have talked about this for some time now, you know how I feel. I guess most of us have other things going on in life. It was a fun experiment and still is. But, if it's not going to grow it might be time to hang it up.

But times change, we get older, get new commitments in our lives that limit how much we are available. My job is killing me and until I find a way out of this management position, I just won't have any social time. -------------------- BMW Motorsports of Oklahoma- BMWMOFO **AS FEATURED IN THE MARCH 2008 EDITION OF ROUNDEL** |

Sorry to say goodbye all, but I don't really have time to check in as much as I would like with working two jobs and all...It would be nice to be able to meet up on facebook or something like that if any of you have a place on myspace or anything, please let me know as I would like to keep in touch, but I think that it sounds like this is going to be coming to an end as sad as it is to say. It was great spending a few years with you all! Please take care and keep in touch if you can!!!

I don't have a facebook account but would be willing to set up one. We could post up links to things we find interesting or entertaining and have a way to stay in contact, without feeling the obligation to post up here -------------------- BMW Motorsports of Oklahoma- BMWMOFO **AS FEATURED IN THE MARCH 2008 EDITION OF ROUNDEL** |

Hi, I rarely come around to any auto forums too. Mostly only to troubleshoot.
I've never run a paid website (i.e. one with bills to pay), but for a short while I did run a free gaming site & server. Even as such, there were many times when I felt like closing shop, and eventually did. In retrospect, I'm glad I did. The old members didn't really stay in touch, but that was pretty much our decision; that would be my only regret. So I can empathize with the decision here. Especially with bills to pay but no growth, there's not much "drive" (pun intended heh) to keep the site going. So maybe it is time to close shop. I really like the facebook or myspace idea though. I don't have an account, but can set one up. -------------------- The material of the hitch which the light of the nature and wind were received in green from and which was developed was used. ...WHAT???
